Tennis Elbow : Osteopathic Treatment in Camberley

This is a very similar issue to golfers elbow. It is known as Lateral epicondylitis. The forearm extensor muscles become inflamed. These muscles attach to the lateral elbow and run into the hand and fingers. The muscles group together into a common attachment into the elbow. Where the tendon attaches to the bone can become inflamed.

Tennis elbow can occur when playing tennis. Often it is thought that the impact of a backhand shot pulls on the muscles and subsequently onto the bone. Although most people have never played tennis they can suffer from tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis.
